Massey University Graduation Programme

This is a collection of the programmes of graduation ceremonies held at Massey University and its predecessor, Massey Agricultural College. The collection covers all the University campuses and sites.

The graduation programme publication has gone through various name/title changes during its existence, as can be seen from the items below.

Massey's first graduation ceremony took place in 1931. The oldest graduation programme that we hold, dates from 1936. There seems to be a break in the publication of programmes for Massey Agricultural College graduation ceremonies between 1936 and 1946.

The first ceremony to honour Maori graduates took place in May 1991 at Palmerston North. The first ceremony to honour Pasifika graduands and graduates at Palmerston North was held on 14 May 2009. The first Massey University graduation celebration to be held in Singapore took place early in November 2010.

Included below are programmes for the separate MBA ceremonies; Congregation for the Installation of the First Chancellor & Conferment of Honorary Degrees (1964); Jubilee Congregation (1977); Congregation for the Conferment of Veterinary Science Degrees (1988); and Graduation Information (1994-1995).
