Manawatū campus
Information
Description
The Manawatū campus is Massey University's traditional base. It is here where land was acquired between 1926 and 1928 for the founding of the university's direct forerunner, the Massey Agricultural College, which was opened on 20 March 1928.
Since then, a number of adjacent properties and farms have been purchased by the university to allow for the expansion of the campus as well as teaching and research capabilities.
