An aerial view of Massey University's Manawatū campus, illustrating some of the more recent changes that have been made to the campus.

One of the most noticeable changes is that the old Rehab Hostels that once surrounded the Young Farmers' Club Memorial Hostel have been demolished, and replaced by four new modern student residences collectively known as the Tree Halls because they are each named after a New Zealand native tree.

Also gone is the last remnant of the Old Hostel - there is now an empty space between Business Studies Central and the Refectory, where it once stood. In addition, the Student Centre (clearly visible to the right of the Science Towers and in front of the Library) has been refurbished and extended, with a brand new dining hall added.

Another recent addition to the campus that can be seen in this image is Te Pūtahi-ā-Toi (the Māori Studies Building, which is just visible behind the Veterinary Sciences Complex), opened on March 8, 1997.
