An oblique aerial image of the campus of Massey University, viewed from the northeast. By this point the campus has expanded considerably, with several new buildings constructed.

The original campus - encompassing the area known as the Oval - is in the lower centre of the picture. The buildings around the oval were built during the Massey Agricultural College era. These include (counter-clockwise from right to left) the Main Building, the old Registry Building, Tiritea House, McHardy Hall, the Refectory, and the Old Hostel. There is also an unspecified clearing between the Main Building and the carpark behind the Old Hostel that seems to indicate the location of the old swimming pool (now abandoned).

To the right of the Main Building are the brand new Registry Building and the Social Sciences Complex. Behind them are the Library (right), and Student Centre (left), followed by the Science Towers, with the Veterinary Sciences Complex to the right of them. Behind the Science Towers are (from left to right) Colombo Hall, the Riddet Complex, Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Buildings A and B, the Agricultural Engineering Building as well as the construction site for the adjacent Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Lecture Theatre Building, and the Boiler House (across the road). 

To the left of Colombo Hall are the Rehab Hostels and the Young Farmers' Club Memorial Hostel, and in the far left edge of the image is City Court, one of a group of brand new Student Halls of Residence, to the right of which stand the interim Biology Building and the Wool Building.
