Near the centre of the picture are Colombo Hall and the newly-completed Stage III buildings of the Riddet Complex, with the interim Biology Building and its neighbour the Wool Building directly across the road - University Avenue - from it, and to the left of it, the new Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences A and B buildings and the adjacent Agricultural Engineering Building.

Behind the Riddet Complex are the Wool Department Building, Science Towers, Library, Student Centre, Social Sciences Complex and brand new Registry Building, while the original buildings from the Massey Agricultural College era - the Main Building, Old Registry Building, Tiritea House, McHardy Hall, the Refectory and the Old Hostel - are to the left of the Student Centre.

On the far left edge of the image is the Boiler House, with Walter Dyer Hall some distance behind it, while the Veterinary Sciences Complex stands just behind the Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences buildings.

Also of note is Massey University's brand new Water Tower, just visible amongst the trees in the far right of the picture.
