On the left are (clockwise from bottom right around the Oval): the old Main Building, Business Studies West and Central, the remaining section of the Old Hostel, the Refectory, McHardy Hall, Tiritea House and the old Registry Building. Behind McHardy Hall and Tiritea House are the Rehab Hostels, the Young Farmers' Club Memorial Hostel and the Court Hostels. Also of note is the new carpark behind Business Studies Central, part of which occupies the site of the now demolished Massey Agricultural College Swimming Pool.

In the centre are (from bottom to top): the Registry Building, Social Sciences Complex, Student Centre, Library, Science Towers, Information Technology Services Building, Riddet Complex, Colombo Hall, Wool Building and Ecology Building. The Recreation Centre and the brand new Sport and Rugby Institute Building with their many outdoor rugby and soccer fields can be seen in the background, as can the Manawatu Community Athletics Track, still under construction at this time but nearing completion.

On the right are (bottom to top): the Bernard Chambers Building, Veterinary Sciences Complex, Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences Buildings, Practical Teaching Complex and Printery.
