This is the programme for the Christchurch Polo Club Sports and Races day, held at the Addington Showgrounds, February 13, 1897. The day began with the Bending Race at 2pm and was followed by the Polo Ball Race, Polo Cup Handicap, Donkey Polo Match, Stiff'uns Stakes, Tandem Race, Ladies' Bracelet, and concluding with the Costume Race at 5pm. Some results are written in pencil next to the corresponding race.
