Date of Publication1918DescriptionThe Waikaremoana Hydro-Electric League was formed in 1917, and one of their first activities was a "Grand Tour of the lake and it's surroundings", with invitations sent "to the more important borough councils in the Wellington province and to members of the Dominion's Parliament". The invitations were accepted, and after a postponement of a week due to abnormal weather, the tour commenced.
Contains photographs by Moore and Foster, "Illiad" Studios, Napier.
Included is a newspaper clipping titled, "$100,000 for project at Waikaremoana".
