Dairy Research Institute. Library Accession Book, circa 1930-1966

Accession register recording books added to the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute Library between circa 1930 and 1966. The register contains bibliographic details of publications acquired by the Institute and provides a record of the growth of its specialist research collections in dairying, dairy technology, chemistry, bacteriology, and agricultural science. A total of 3,159 publications dating from 1886 to 1966 are listed.

The Dairy Research Institute was associated with Massey Agricultural College and later Massey University, and its library collection was managed by the University Library until the Institute relocated to its own premises across Tennent Drive in 1966.
