Programme for Christchurch Polo Club Sports and Races, 23 March 1895

This is not the complete programme for the March 23, 1895 Sports Day. It is the copy for the March 12, 1892 event, with changes made to it in pencil, as if it is being used as a template for the 1895 event. The front page has many alterations, with the date and the names of most of the officials altered. The race format was altered to indicate the day would begin with the Bending Competition at 2pm, and followed by the Polo Ball Race. The Cup Race was to commence at 3pm and was to be followed by the Ladies' Bracelet, Hurdles, Tandem Race (round a post). The last event of the day was to be the Costume Race (round a hurdle).
