An early view of the farm owned by A.H. Hansen. The farm is in the process of being cleared. The fences are up, a paddock has been grassed and cows are grazing. Outside the established paddock, the remains of trees and dead trees litter the ground. There are no buildings visible. Hanson was the chairman of the Tamaki Co-operative Dairy Company and its later successors.
