Shirley Welch Photographic Collection

A collection of seven photographs taken during the floods of the Manawatū River and Turitea Stream in January 1953. The flooded landscape around the main entrance and drive to Massey Agricultural College can be seen in these photographs.

Shirley Welch, who took these photographs, was a staff member of Massey Agricultural College at the time.
