Massey University Rugby Football Club Photographic Collection

This is collection of photographs of Massey University’s rugby teams from the founding of the rugby club in 1929.

The vast majority of photos are of the 1st XV or Senior A Rugby Team. There is a small number of photos of the Senior B team, or Rams as they were known, and one photograph of the Massey women’s rugby team, the Varsity Maidens. 

The bulk of these photographs were assembled for the 2004 reunion of the Massey University Rugby Football Club, and most of the photos appear in the reunion booklet. These photos were donated to the University Archives in 2004.
