DescriptionBlack and white photograph of the farm owned by A.H. Hansen. The farm is partially cleared. One paddock, grassed and fenced, contains dairy cows. The rest has obviously been fired, with dead trees in some paddocks and stumps thick on the ground.
A.H. Hansen became chairman of the Tamaki Co-operative Dairy Company in 1919, the Tamaki- Kiritaki Co-operative Dairy Company on amalgamation in 1955, and the Ruahine Co-operatice Dairy Company on amalgamation in 1960, until his resignation in 1962. He, and his farm, were major supporters of the fledgling dairy industry in the Tararua District.
