A troopship magazine produced by those who sailed on the H.M.T. Nieuw Amsterdam (Troopship 75) which carried the 10th Reinforcements to Egypt in August 1943. The 10th Reinforcements included six medical officers, 20 sisters of the New Zealand Army Nursing Service, two commissioned dispensers, and 118 other ranks of the New Zealand Medical Corps. (See New Zealand medical services in Middle East and Italy, T.D.M. Stout, 1956) We have two copies of this magazine, one of which is damaged, but both are included here as they have numerous signatures of the people on board. Signatures on this copy: E.N.
