Accession Number1971-11NotesIt is known that the Ruahine Co-operative Dairy Company employed Argosy Industrial Photos, Palmerston North, in 1962 to take photographs in the Company's factories. Eric Warr was a lecturer at Massey University until his death in the 1980s. He was very interested in the dairy industry in New Zealand especially the factory system. For display purposes and for inclusion in his book Bush burn to Butter, he collected a number of photographs. Unfortunately he rarely wrote on them from where he obtained the photos. The mounted photographs were used for display purposes
