In front of the factory a four horse team wagon loaded with cheese. Behind it is another horse drawn vehicle. The horse can just be seen in front of rear of the loaded wagon, and a driver and passenger are visible to the side of the front of the loaded wagon. At the side of the factory is a loaded wagon, containing milk cans and pulled by a 2 horse team. Behind it is another loaded wagon pulled by a 2 horse team coming in to unload.

On the back of the photograph is states that the cheese was being carted to Eltham Railway Station for transshipment to Moturoa, New Plymouth. W.W. Moller was the cartage contractor.
