Description
DescriptionMr E.W. Leach, the first Chairperson of the Southern Hawke's Bay Cull Drive Association from 1939-1945. The Cull Drive Association drove mobs of culled cattle to the Thomas Borthwick & Sons (A'Asia) works for slaughter. Drives were originally organized with the Herd Testing Association.
Mr Leach retired in 1945. Mr W. Galloway took over as Chairman after Mr Leach's retirement.
